Reuters reports that Bisphenol A (BPA) exposure derived from consuming canned goods is greater than that from baby bottles or water bottles. The exposure is of greater concern because the technological challenges associated with substituting other compounds for BPA The article states, “What is clear, however, is that unlike the case with plastic, there are no economically viable alternatives to the chemical in epoxy resins right now.”
