The incident involving multiple forms of pollution that were found to be in the drinking water at Camp Lejeune for several years has now made the big screen. The independent film “Semper Fi Always Faithful” premiered last week at the Tribeca Film Festival. A website has been set up by a group cofounded by Jerry Ensminger, the movie‚Äôs protagonist. According to that site the chemicals that soldiers and others were exposed to include volatile organic compounds, Perchloroethylene, Trichloroethylene, Dichloroethylene, Vinyl Chloride, Benzene, Toluene, Ethylbenzene, and Xylene.
