Among the assets to be purchased by TBSS International is US Patent No. 6,471,369 entitled “Lighting system observable by humans but not turtles to protect turtle nesting environment” which covers a fluorescent light that complies with regulations designed for the protection of the loggerhead turtles. It is an energy efficient light that emits very limited light in the wavelengths that the turtles can see while providing light in wavelengths that humans can see. The loggerhead turtle is an endangered species and the lighting is billed as “Turtle friendly lighting.”
