Real-world BPA exposure could be long-lasting

USA Today is reporting that researchers at the University of Missouri have found that eating a a steady diet of BPA exposed foods such as canned foods with BPA-based liners (most canned foods) causes BPA to reside in the body for significantly longer than previous studies suggest. The report indicated that previous studies were limited in that they focused only on individual exposures to BPA. Such exposures may not be representative of the continuous BPA exposure from multiple sources that many people face from canned goods packaging and other sources.
