United States Patent 7,964,385 naming Thomas Herlihy of Geneseo, NY teaches a process for composting/processing oranic wastes such as paper materials, yard clippings, woody scraps, manures, sludges, and industrial wastes. The process involves a high temperature treatment in the 120 F range and a moderate temperature composting in the 100 F range followed by application of the initially composted materials to a worm bed that is part of a digester system. The end result of the process is a commercial compost product.
