Hites’ Lab at U. of Indiana offers a good history of Dechlorane Plus

The Hites’ Laboratory website from the School of Public and Environmental Affairs at Indiana University has a good summary of the previous work to characterize the spread of dechlorane plus in the environment including multiple links to articles published from the University that described the development of dechlorane plus as an alternative to dechlorane (Mirex). The site describes the previous research that was conducted by the Hites’ Lab with articles regarding the presence of dechlorane plus in tree bark and the discovery of dechlorane plus in the great lakes. Authors of those articles include several members of the Hites’ Lab including Eunha Hoh, Lingyan Zhu, Xinghua Qiu, and Ronald A. Hites.
