Frank Kulick, III of Sinking Spring, PA and Curtis McDowell, Allentown, PA have invented a fixed media reactor for the removal of nitrogen compounds from waste water.   The invention of Patent No. 7,731,842 is designed to maintain a healthy population of organisms under anoxic conditions for the removal of nitrogen contaminants without the use of mechanical mixers.  This technology area that this patent represents will be important to addressing the serious issues that this country faces with respect to water pollution by nitrogen based compounds.  The face of the patent indicates that Brentwood Industries, Inc. of Pennsylvania is the owner of the patent.
